About Armenian Backgammon Sets (Nardi)
Our Armenian backgammon sets bring the nardi tradition to a hand-carved wooden board. Each design draws on Armenian heritage: the signature Mount Ararat (Masis) outline, the eternity sign and pomegranates, Etchmiadzin, Tatev and Geghard, Lori and Artsakh carpet patterns, the Armenian alphabet and the coat of arms.
Boards are carved by hand from beech and walnut in sizes from 30 to 60 cm, and many models have cast bronze hinges. Every set comes with checkers and dice, and we engrave a name, date or short wish inside the board free of charge, making it a meaningful gift for weddings, birthdays and family occasions.
