About Mount Ararat Chess Sets
Chess sets featuring the signature, copyrighted Mount Ararat (Masis) outline of the Hrachya Ohanyan workshop — hand-carved wooden chess boards inspired by Armenian heritage.
In this collection, Mount Ararat shapes the outline of the board or is carved into its surface, sometimes with snow-white peaks in one corner. The boards are lacquered and several are finished with bronze details, making them a centrepiece for a study and a heartfelt gift.
How to choose
- Size: choose a 40 cm board for a compact set or a 60 cm board for full-size play.
- What's included: most sets come with chess pieces and a bag or case – check each listing for details.
