What we make

We specialize in premium handmade wooden board games, including chess sets, backgammon boards and unique decorative pieces. Each creation is crafted from carefully selected natural wood and shaped by skilled artisans who combine traditional carving techniques with modern design.

How each piece is made

Every product goes through a detailed production process involving multiple stages of carving, engraving and finishing. Skilled masters dedicate their expertise to each step, ensuring that every board becomes a unique piece of art designed to last for generations.

Many of our boards are carved from a single piece of beech or walnut wood. Depending on the model, they are finished with varnish, protective lacquer or natural beeswax, fitted with cast bronze hinges and locks, and decorated with deep carving, wood inlay or epoxy resin. A typical backgammon set includes 32 checkers in beech and walnut wood with velvet-lined bases, dice made from billiard balls and a branded carry case. Many sets also come with a 25-year guarantee certificate, which is noted on the product page.

Signature designs

Our designs celebrate heritage, artistry and precision. Many of our signature patterns and models have become recognizable symbols of our brand, admired by collectors and board-game lovers worldwide. From classic styles to artistic and custom creations, we craft pieces that combine beauty, tradition and functionality.

Look for the brand's copyrighted Mount Ararat outline, a signature design the workshop has used on its products since 2000, as well as the copyrighted contour outline and arch-style outline. Many boards are engraved with Armenian motifs such as ornamental braids, pomegranates and grapes, Mount Ararat, Etchmiadzin Cathedral and the temple of Garni.

Made personal

Most of our backgammon, chess and chess-backgammon sets can be personalized: add a name, a date or a short wish when you order, and we will engrave it inside the board free of charge. Please note that engraved and other personalized items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
