- 25-year guarantee certificate
Star-shaped and only 24 cm (about 9 in) across, this wooden chess set is a compact version of the game that leaves out none of its squares or pieces. The workshop carves it from a single piece of beech, a wood with a fine, even texture, and the letters and numbers on the board are cut into the same wood.
At this size the set moves easily from room to room or into a bag for a holiday, and it needs very little space once it arrives. It suits a bedside table, a train table or a corner of a hotel desk, wherever two players want a game without setting up a large board.
