- 25-year guarantee certificate
Measuring 30 x 30 x 3 cm (about 12 in), this star-shaped chess set is carved from a single block of beech wood, which is pale and straight-grained with a fine, even texture. The star shape gives a familiar game an unexpected form.
Chess leaves nothing to chance and hides nothing, so every game is decided by the two players alone, and here the unusual shape is the one surprise on the table. At this size the set fits on a desk, a bookshelf or a small side table, and between games it can stay out on display.
