At 60 cm (about 24 in) across, this world map backgammon set (nardi) is a full-size classic board, carved from one piece of beech wood. A map of the world is engraved into it and filled with colourful epoxy resin, while the back is reserved for draughts.
Pale beech gives the colourful resin a light background, so the map stands out clearly.
