- 25-year guarantee certificate
Two-sided and sized at 60 cm (about 24 in), this classic bas-relief rosette backgammon set (nardi) is carved out of one beech block and finished with natural beeswax. Both of its sides carry ornament in bas-relief, combined with intricate elements, with a rosette among the motifs.
These patterns come from the Armenian ornamental tradition, which ranges across many motifs, types and forms. Relief carving on both sides makes the set a piece to keep on display, on a dresser or a wide shelf, when it is not in play. The back of the board serves for checkers (draughts) too.
