- 25-year guarantee certificate
Only 30 cm (about 12 in) across, this eternity sign backgammon set (nardi) is a compact classic model, carved from one piece of beech. It fits on a café table, a garden bench or a writing desk, and the eternity sign is engraved on the board.
The sign symbolises eternal life and stands for Armenian national identity; it is found in illuminated manuscripts and woven into carpets as well as carved in stone. Small as it is, the board holds the whole game, with its mix of chance and skill, and the back is set out for checkers.
