- 25-year guarantee certificate
Big enough to anchor a room, this large classic chess set measures 100 x 100 x 5 cm (about 39 in) and is carved from a single piece of beech. A hotel lounge, a club room or a wide, low table at home gives it the space it needs, and the expanded playing field makes full use of that size.
At this scale the squares and the carved letters and numbers can be seen from all around the table, so the board suits lessons, demonstrations and games that others like to watch. It is the kind of board that stays out, part of the furnishing rather than something packed away after each game.
