- 25-year guarantee certificate
Sized at 60 cm (about 24 in), this deer backgammon set (nardi) has a contour outline and a light varnish. The board is carved from one piece of beech and engraved with the image of a deer.
Varnish is a clear protective coat, so the light colouring of the beech stays in view. The deer, often a figure of grace and beauty, majesty and nobility, gives the board its motif, and the pale look suits a bright living room or a summer house. After the last game of backgammon, there is still draughts to play on the back, or the set can simply stay out on a hall table or a sideboard.
