- 25-year guarantee certificate
This wooden chess set takes its character from the star shape of its board, which makes it as much a decorative object as a game. It measures 30 cm (about 12 in), and a single piece of beech wood was carved to make it, down to the letters and numbers of the board.
When no game is under way, the set serves as a decorative piece on an office shelf or a living-room cabinet. Once the pieces of beech and walnut are set out, it becomes a working chessboard again, ready for two players. Its modest size keeps that switch easy, as the set is quick to lift down from the shelf and put back again.
