- 25-year guarantee certificate
Chess players who like a little metal among the wood will find it in this 40 cm (about 16 in) star-shaped chess set: its letters and numbers are cast in bronze, and bronze studs complete the decoration. The set itself is carved in one piece from beech wood.
The bronze letters and numbers are practical as well as decorative: they name the files and ranks, so a move can be called out, noted down or followed from a chess book. The game itself is classical chess, sixteen pieces a side. A board of this size suits a study table or, on summer evenings, a garden table.
