Luxury Chess Table with Ornamental Weave & Carved Legs, 60 cm

Made from one piece of beech wood and finished with natural beeswax, this 60 x 60 x 63 cm (about 24 in) chess table carries our copyrighted contour outline. An ornamental weave composed of intricate elements is engraved all the way around the playing field. Similar engraved patterns continue over the drawers and down the carved legs, so the ornament ties the whole table together.

The chess figures have a place of their own inside the table, in drawers on two of its sides. Hard, dense and hard-wearing, beech suits a piece of furniture that sees regular play. Setting up a game takes no more than opening a drawer and placing the pieces.
