- 25-year guarantee certificate
In a household where the board comes out most evenings, this classic two-sided bas-relief backgammon set (nardi) earns its keep. Made from one solid piece of wood, the board reaches 60 cm (about 24 in), and each of its two sides is decorated with scrolls in relief, combined with complex details.
Armenian ornamental patterns differ widely in motif, type and form, and the scrolls here belong to that tradition. A natural beeswax finish covers the wood, and the back of the board is also designed for a game of checkers (draughts). Kept on a sideboard in the dining room, the set is close at hand whenever the table is cleared after a meal.
