Between rehearsals, concerts and family gatherings, this wooden duduk case gives the instrument a protected place to rest and a fitting way to be shown. The case is carved out of one solid piece of beech, and our copyrighted outline of Mount Ararat is engraved on it.
The duduk, the Armenian double-reed wind instrument, is traditionally made of apricot wood, and the mountain on its case comes from the same heritage. Ararat, which Armenians call Masis, is widely seen as the foremost symbol of the nation, and many hold it to be a holy mountain. Completely handcrafted, the case brings instrument and emblem together, whether it is opened at home or travels with a player to a performance.
Duduk players, from beginners to seasoned performers, are the people it is made for.
