This handmade two-sided backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of walnut wood, with a 40 cm board, featuring the pagan temple of Garni and the Geghard monastery complex.
The pagan temple of Garni, the only one still standing in Armenia and traditionally dated to 77 AD, is engraved on one side. The monastery complex of Geghard, named after the Holy Spear said to have been kept there for 500 years, is engraved on one side.
Both sides of the board are engraved.
Every set is completely handcrafted, finished with a varnished finish and fitted with cast bronze hinges and locks. Each piece comes with a 25-year guarantee certificate. A distinctive gift for backgammon players, collectors and lovers of fine woodwork.
