This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of walnut wood, with a 60 cm board, featuring a lion.
A lion, a motif firmly rooted in the Armenian pictographic and coat-of-arms tradition and a symbol of inspiration and courage, is engraved on the board.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
