- 25-year guarantee certificate
This chess set takes its character from a contour outline and from letters and numbers carved directly into its 40 cm (about 16 in) board, which our workshop cuts from a single piece of beech. Carved coordinates are more than ornament for a player: a square called out by a coach, a position copied from a newspaper puzzle or a move written on a score sheet can all be found on the board at once.
A board of this size suits everyday play at home, on a coffee table, a desk or the end of a dining table. The pieces are made of beech and walnut, a pale wood and a darker one, and each side has sixteen of them.
