Made from beech and walnut wood, these 32 classic backgammon (nardi) pieces are kept deliberately simple: flat, round and easy to pick up and move. Beech is a hard, dense timber, and each piece carries velvet on its underside so that the board’s surface stays protected during play.
The plain, timeless design keeps attention on the game rather than on the pieces. The set makes a dependable spare to keep beside your board, or a replacement when a few checkers from an older set have gone missing, and it serves equally well for long and short nardi.
