- 25-year guarantee certificate
Anyone who likes the pieces close at hand will appreciate this carved box-style chess set, which measures 60 x 60 x 15 cm (about 24 in) and is cut from a single piece of solid wood. Its top opens, and the chess pieces are kept in the box beneath, ready for the next game.
Cast bronze letters and numbers mark the coordinates, bringing a touch of metal to the carved wood. Because the pieces live inside the set itself, setting up and clearing away take only moments, which suits a family room where chess comes out often. Closed, it can rest on a sideboard or a low cabinet until the next game.
