From our classic range comes this snowflake backgammon set (nardi), a large 60 cm (about 24 in) board carved in one piece from beech and finished with natural beeswax. Engraved on one side, its Armenian ornament is shaped as a snowflake.
Variety is a mark of Armenian ornament, which has motifs, types and forms of many kinds, and this snowflake is one of them. In backgammon, two players race their pieces round twenty-four points, and this board has a draughts field on its reverse face. With its wax finish and its ornament, the set looks at home in a room furnished in natural materials.
