- 25-year guarantee certificate
Measuring 60 cm (about 24 in), this eternity backgammon set (nardi) has a board carved from one piece of beech and shaped with an arch-style outline. Beech takes a finish well, and here it is treated with natural beeswax. The reverse is prepared for a game of draughts.
Its engraving is the eternity sign, also known as the sun cross, which carries the idea of eternal life and is an emblem of Armenian national identity. On a board of this size two players can lay out their checkers comfortably, and between games the set can stay on a sideboard, where the arches of its outline remain in view.
