Families who play chess around the kitchen table can use this classic set of figures on a 40 x 40 x 3 cm board, a size that leaves room for cups and homework beside it. The figures are made of beech and walnut wood.
Chess has no dice and nothing hidden, which makes it a fair game to teach at home, and the classic shapes help children learn which figure is which. Each figure has velvet fabric on its opposite side, so the board is spared the slides and knocks of enthusiastic young players.
