- 25-year guarantee certificate
On a round café table or a low coffee table, this circular chess set looks as if it belongs there. One piece of beech is carved into its 50 cm (about 20 in) board, while bronze, cast into letters and numbers, adds small metal accents to the pale wood.
A round board is an unusual sight among chess sets and gives a room a softer shape than the familiar square. Two players still bring sixteen pieces each to the game, and the bronze coordinates help when a move has to be found or written down. Between games it can stay out on the table as a decorative piece in its own right.
