A dark varnish and engraving that runs right round the playing field set the tone of this chess table, and similar patterns continue on its legs. Together they give the game a formal setting, closer to a library than a playroom. Our copyrighted contour outline completes the design of a table made from one piece of beech and 60 x 60 x 63 cm (about 24 in) in size.
