Game nights at home are what this tiger backgammon set (nardi) with a contour outline is for: a 60 cm (about 24 in) board, carved from one piece of beech, with a tiger engraved into it.
Tigers stand for strength and courage, which suits a competitive table where nobody likes to lose the rematch. Backgammon is considered one of the world’s oldest board games, and a board this size keeps it comfortable to play for an entire evening. When the players want a change, the same board serves long nardi as well as short, and the back of the board adds checkers to the choice.
