This little turtle sculpture, called simply “Turtles”, is made wholly by hand from bronze and Indian marble and measures 8 x 6 x 7 cm. In the hand, the contrast between its two materials is easy to feel: the bronze warm in tone, the marble cool and natural in texture.
In many cultures the turtle stands for long life, patience and wisdom, so this small piece carries good wishes as well as decoration.
