Bronze and Indian marble come together in “Girl on Her Knees”, a figurative sculpture of a kneeling girl that measures 21 cm. It is completely handcrafted, and its size suits a bedside table, a chest of drawers or a shelf at eye level, where the figure can be looked at up close.
Bronze brings warmth to the piece and the marble adds the calm of natural stone. As a figurative work it sits well beside framed prints, art books or a vase of flowers, bringing a human presence into a room – and it can just as easily be the first piece of a collection.
