Walnut, a wood whose natural colour can range from pale brown to dark chocolate, gives this wooden bear sculpture its warm tones. Carved by hand from a single piece, the bear is entirely handmade, and since grain and colour differ from tree to tree, no two of these bears look exactly alike.
At 70 x 40 x 22 cm it is a substantial piece that needs a place of its own: beside a fireplace, at the foot of a staircase, in the corner of a study or in the entrance hall of a country house. It suits rooms with wooden furniture and natural materials, and it is a fitting gift for anyone who loves wildlife and long walks in the woods.
