- 25-year guarantee certificate
Square in plan and 60 x 60 x 3 cm (about 24 in) in size, our epoxy ornament backgammon set (nardi) is a two-sided classic model. Its stylised ornament is engraved on both faces of a board shaped from one piece of beech, and resin fills the engraving.
Beech is dense and hard-wearing, which suits a board kept out for everyday games instead of being saved for best. Stylised ornament means simplified forms in place of detailed drawing, so the two decorated sides read as pattern rather than picture. Opened on the kitchen table after school or work, it is ready whenever someone suggests a game.
