This chess set is carved from a single piece of beech wood in a striking eight-pointed star shape, with a full-size 60 cm board. A row of bronze studs frames the playing field, and the textured, engraved border gives the board depth and character.
The unusual silhouette makes it a real centrepiece for a study, living room or office – a set that invites a game every time someone walks past. The board is lacquered and finished with bronze details.
