Sized at 6 cm, with a diameter of 3 cm, this set of Trojan war chess figures is made for a 40 x 40 x 3 cm board. Its theme comes from Greek mythology, and the figures are small sculptures inspired by ancient Greek motifs.
The delicate pieces portray ancient heroes in life-like, meticulous detail, so each one reads as a miniature sculpture as much as a playing piece. They are cast from an alloy of aluminium and zinc, and the velvet fabric under each figure protects the board it stands on. Between games they can stay set up on the board as a display piece in their own right.
