Solid beech, carved as one piece, makes up the board of this classic snowflake backgammon set (nardi), a generous 60 cm (about 24 in) square. On one side, an ornament in the shape of a snowflake is engraved into the wood, a motif that brings a touch of winter to the games table.
The board comes from the workshop of Hrachya Ohanyan, author of the copyrighted Mount Ararat outline that our products have carried since 2000. Draughts players are catered for too, on the back of the board. A field of this size lets two players settle in for a series of games rather than a single round.
