This backgammon set (nardi) is made from a single piece of beech wood, with a full-size 60 cm board. On the lid, a scorpion is carved in an oval medallion set in a cloud-shaped cartouche, against a finely carved diamond-lattice background.
The bold scorpion motif makes it a striking choice, and a fitting gift for someone born under the sign of Scorpio. The board is lacquered and finished with bronze details.
