This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of beech wood, with a 60 cm board, featuring pomegranates.
Pomegranates, which symbolize abundance and well-being in the Armenian tradition, are engraved on one side. Parts of the design are filled with epoxy resin, which adds depth and color.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
