Hung in a living room or above an office desk, this handmade walnut wall clock, 30 cm across, shows stylised trees engraved into the wood, their recesses filled with epoxy resin. The clock is carved from one piece of walnut and is completely handcrafted.
Walnut carves well and has long been used for fine furniture, which makes it a good choice for a motif cut into its surface. Its warm brown forms a calm background for the resin-filled trees, so the clock sits comfortably among wooden furniture and bookshelves, and on a plain wall it becomes the natural focus of the room.
