The coat of arms of Armenia, with the symbols of four historic royal dynasties, is engraved in detail on this 60 cm backgammon set (nardi). The board is carved from a single piece of walnut, whose deep brown tone suits a design that speaks of statehood and history.
One side carries a detailed engraving of the Coat of Arms of Armenia, based on the national emblem of the First Republic of Armenia (1918–1920). At its center are the symbols of the four royal dynasties of historic Armenia.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
