This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of walnut wood, with a 60 cm board, featuring the poem "Anush", the brand's copyrighted Mount Ararat outline and hornbeam wood inlay (incrustation).
A fragment of Hovhannes Tumanyan's poem "Anush", the tragic love story of Anush and Saro, is engraved on one side, framed by complex ornamental elements. The board carries Hrachya Ohanyan's copyrighted Mount Ararat outline, a signature design the workshop has used on its products since 2000. Hornbeam wood incrustation (inlay) adds a contrasting detail to the walnut.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
