This unique model is carved from one piece of beech wood. On one side are engraved bas-relief ornaments, combined with complex elements. Ornamental patterns are rich with a variety of motives, types and forms. Inside of chessboard is a playing field with grooves carved around it to store figures.
This model is completely handcrafted. It is varnished.The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze.
The set includes:
32 chess figures, which are made out of bronze and cast of aluminum and zinc alloy, and the bottom of each figure is covered with velvet fabric. Each figure has the Hrachya Ohanyan logo.
