ロココ模様のバックギャモンセット 60cm（モデル 11703）

Weekend games at a living-room table or long evenings with friends: this handmade backgammon set (nardi) is meant for regular play, with a 60 cm board of beech wood. An ornamental pattern in the rococo style is engraved on the board, so the set keeps a festive look even when it is simply left open between games.

The aim is quick to explain: two players race their checkers, fifteen apiece, round the twenty-four points, and the first to bring every one of them home and off the board takes the game. That makes the set an easy one to bring out when guests arrive, while the rococo ornament gives the board a decorative air that suits a sitting room as well as a games table.
