ブロンズと大理石のザクロの彫刻 光沢仕上げ

With its shiny look, this pomegranate sculpture in bronze and Indian marble catches the light wherever it stands. It is completely handcrafted, and at a slim 11 x 5 x 5 cm it fits between books, beside a desk lamp or on a narrow ledge.

In Armenian art the pomegranate is a widely used ornament, on church architecture as well as in manuscript miniatures, and carved pomegranates together with grapevines once adorned the early medieval cathedral of Zvartnots. This sculpture lifts the same fruit from walls and pages onto a table or a shelf, as a small object to hold and to give.
