This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of beech wood, with a 60 cm board, featuring an Armenian ornamental pattern.
An Armenian ornamental pattern is engraved on the board; Armenian ornaments are rich in motifs, types and forms. Parts of the design are filled with epoxy resin, which adds depth and color.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
