This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of beech wood, with a 60 cm board, featuring the Armenian Eternity sign and braid motifs.
The Eternity sign symbolizes the idea of eternal life and is a symbol of Armenian national identity. Braid motifs add an extra ornamental layer to the design.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
