This handmade backgammon set (nardi) is carved from a single piece of beech wood, with a 40 cm board, featuring the Khor Virap Monastery, "Hayastan" and the brand's copyrighted Mount Ararat outline.
Khor Virap, one of the most sacred places in Armenia and a popular pilgrimage site, is engraved on the board. "Hayastan", the Armenian name of the country, derives from Hayasa, meaning the country of the Armenians. The board carries Hrachya Ohanyan's copyrighted Mount Ararat outline, a signature design the workshop has used on its products since 2000.
The reverse side is laid out for checkers (draughts).
