The set is cut from one piece of beech, and its board measures 60 cm across.

Few board games are thought to be older than backgammon, and on this board the game meets a hero of Armenia’s own epic tradition. For families who know the tales of Sassoun, the engraved monument offers an easy way to pass the story of David on to children between moves, so a game of nardi doubles as a small lesson in heritage.

Product details

Size: 60 x 60 x 3 cm

Material: Beech wood

Finish: Protective lacquer

Weight: 4.5 kg (7 kg packed)

Brand: Hrachya Ohanyan

Model: 11761

What's included

Playing pieces

Dice

Carry bag

Handcrafted from start to finish, each set is backed by a 25-year guarantee certificate.
