Each of its two sides carries an engraved Armenian ornament, and the design combines the eternity sign with a braid motif and the inlay.

Armenian ornament is rich in motifs, types and forms. The eternity sign is among the most common of them in architecture, and medieval Armenian culture read it as a sign of eternal, heavenly life. Since both faces are engraved, the board shows ornament whichever way up it lies on a table or a shelf.

Product details

Size: 60 x 60 x 3 cm

Material: Walnut wood

Design: Eternity sign, braid, inlay, ornament on both sides

Finish: Natural beeswax

Hardware: Cast bronze hinges and locks

Weight: 5 kg (7 kg packed)

Brand: Hrachya Ohanyan

Model: 12262

What's included

32 playing pieces in beech and walnut wood, each with a velvet-lined base

Dice made from billiard balls

Branded carry case with wooden handle

Handcrafted from start to finish, each set is backed by a 25-year guarantee certificate.
