Beech, carved in one piece, forms the board, which carries an engraving of the Armenian eternity sign and our copyrighted outline of Mount Ararat, with a checkers grid on the back.

The sign expresses the idea of eternity, and Armenians use it as a symbol of their identity. Also called the wheel of eternity, it may have different numbers of arms, and besides stone carving it appears in illuminated manuscripts and on carpets. The mountain in the outline is a volcanic massif with two summits, Greater and Lesser Ararat; Hrachya Ohanyan created the outline, and it has been a feature of the workshop’s boards since 2000.

Product details

Size: 60 x 60 x 3 cm

Material: Beech wood

Design: Eternity sign and Mount Ararat outline

Finish: Varnished

Hardware: Cast bronze hinges and locks

Weight: 5 kg (7 kg packed)

Brand: Hrachya Ohanyan

Model: 11124

What's included

32 playing pieces in beech and walnut wood, each with a velvet-lined base

Dice made from billiard balls

Branded carry case with wooden handle

Every set is completely handcrafted and comes with a 25-year guarantee certificate.
