Underneath, velvet fabric covers each checker so that the board is not scratched.

Because the emblem is repeated on every checker, the set takes on a formal, heraldic look once the pieces are lined up on the board. Each checker measures 3 cm across, and the contrast between wood and cast metal is what distinguishes this set from plain wooden pieces of the same size.

Product details

Size: 0.9 cm

Material: Beech and walnut wood; aluminium–zinc alloy and bronze

Diameter: 3 cm

Base: Covered with velvet

Design: Coat of arms of the Russian Federation

Weight: 0.1 kg (0.5 kg packed)

Brand: Hrachya Ohanyan

Model: 62312

A considered birthday present for a nardi player with an interest in heraldry.

Explore more backgammon pieces and dice.
